SAFETY RECALL
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Jardine is recalling the Americana, Berkley, Capri, Hilton, Olympia, Positano, Spindle, and Windsor Jardine cribs listed below. We are recalling these cribs because the wooden crib slats and spindles can break, creating a gap, which can pose an entrapment and strangulation hazard to infants. The cribs were sold nationwide from January 2002 through January 2009.
The purpose of this Web site is to inform consumers affected by the recall about how to obtain a voucher for the purchase of a replacement crib. The voucher can be redeemed at any Babies”R”Us or Toys”R”Us store.
Please note: the voucher is valid for the purchase of a crib only.
If you own one of the recalled cribs listed below, you may choose from one of the following two options:
Read Press Release: Click on the Press Release button below to read the public recall announcement. The press release lists a series of crib model numbers (also listed below). To determine if your crib has one of these model numbers, check the inside of the bottom rail of the headboard or footboard. If it does, your crib is included in this recall.
Submission Options: You may choose between two methods to submit your information online. Our "E-File Submission" option requires a valid email address and allows you to print a FedEx shipping label immediately after submitting your request. This is the fastest way to obtain your voucher and replace your crib.
Also, you may choose to "Mailed Submission", in which case a FedEx label and return package will be mailed to your address.
NOTE: The electronic process is only valid for US-residing customers. Any consumer residing outside the US should contact the recall center at 1-800-646-4106.
